SanDisk has confirmed the world's smallest 1TB USB Type-C flash drive at CES 2018 alongside introducing the smallest 256GB USB flash drive at the conference. The 1TB flash drive is yet in the ‘prototype’ phases and may take some time to hit the market. USB type-C is supported by the 1TB flash drive, making it easier to transfer data to smartphones and laptops. However, the prices have not been revealed yet. Furthermore, the world's smallest 256GB Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive that measures 19.1 x 15.9 x 8.8mm has been introduced by the firm that comes in various capacities. The SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive series support a read speed of 130MB/s and write speeds of up to 15x faster than usual USB 2.0 drives.
